The PDF for The Ugly Goblin Cookbook has now been sent out to you all!
All who have purchased the PDF for The Ugly Goblin Cookbook should be getting an email from BACKERKIT now, which will include a code you can use to redeem your copy of the PDF.
All other PDFs will be launched at a later time, but I'll keep you up to date.
I am SO excited to hear what you all think of it! This will be people's first look at the book! AGH! I'm both so nervous and excited xD ENJOY!!

Backerkit is READY!

Hello folks!
And thank you for your patience as I have been untangling the enigma that is Backerkit, for the first time.
But I can now say with confidence that I have conquered the beast and have learned a LOT, which I will be delighted to apply to future projects.
So what now?
Very soon you will all be receiving a very tiny survey.
This will allow you to:
- Make any last-minute purchases.
- Fill out your address for shipping.
- Pay for the shipping for your product
But juuuuust before we send it out, we're going to run a Smoke Test.
What is a Smoke Test?
This is where the survey will first be sent out to 5%.
So some of you will receive the survey, while others will have to wait just a little while.
During this process, we can see if there are any bugs in the survey and fix anything that needs fixing.
If we did it with you all at once, there could potentially be chaos.
So to avoid complications, we'll send it out to a small batch of you first.
Important things to note!
When filling out your address, make sure it is an address you are happy to receive your order at later this summer.
Also, make sure the credit card details you submit are also from a credit card that doesn't expire this summer, just to avoid the payment bouncing back.
This will allow you to receive your payment as soon as possible!
What happens after this?
Once your information has been received on our end, you should receive any PDFs you have purchased.
Meaning you'll be able to start using the Ugly Goblin's Cookbook SUPER soon in your own games! 😁

Good & Bad News

Bad News First!
This is my very first Kickstarter, and I have horribly misjudged the time it takes to publish a book. In my Kickstarter, I had said that I planned to ship this book out to you all by March.
However, after talking with my new fulfilment partner, CRWN Studios (more on them in the "Good News" section), I have realised that books won't be shipped out to you all until this summer.
ALL of the Good News!
I am now working alongside the incredible CRWN Studios.
CRWN Studios & I are now deciding on a Printers & Working the Backerkit for this Kickstarter.
I am already learning so much from the amazing team at CRWN Studios, and things are moving at a very fast pace.
The book is nearly done!
Artwork: We are just finalising the final pieces of artwork for the book, and hope to have them all complete by the end of this week!
Editing: I've had many people review the book and help me find all of the little errors and grammatical mistakes I've made along the way. And after reviewing it maybe- 5 times now? I'm pretty confident the primary book is solid and ready to go!
One final pass: Once all of the artwork is done and added into the book, we're going to give it one final pass before releasing the PDF to you all.
Expect the PDF to be sent out to you by the end of March.
Final Notes
We've been working non-stop on this book in the Goblin household, and I am so relieved that we can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel.
I really do apologise for misjudging fulfilment dates so poorly, and I hope you can forgive me.
I want to make sure you are all getting the best quality book you can get your lil goblin hands on, and I am feeling very confident that you will be getting exactly that.
The book is looking to be just short of 100 pages long, and so far is packed with about 130 pieces of unique artwork.
I am so, so proud of what we've been cooking up for you all. Cannot wait to share it with everyone!

1. The Book has been Formatted
I have now formatted the entire book, I'm just in the process now of cleaning the whole thing up and adding artwork with my partner n_n
2. Some Highlights
A few fellow content creators who I would consider friends of mine, have been creating some Incredible works here on Kickstarter and I just wanted to shine a spotlight on them incase you haven't seen what they have been cooking up!
Anto from Icarus Games has created some Gorgeous Cheat Sheets for every Class in D&D 2024. So if you've been a little intimidated to switch over, these sheets are the Perfect solution to ease yourself and new players into the updated system.
This Kickstarter was backed in a SINGLE DAY!
Bob's GORGEOUS Pulp Zine for Shadowdark is packed with New Classes, Monsters, Magic Items, Wilderness Sites AND a CURSED 22 Room Dungeon!
We know Bob, we love Bob, and so it was no surprise that his zine was backed in MINUTES!
Peter is a genius, and also has an incredible Youtube channel breaking down TTRPGs and gives golden advice on how to improve your own TTRPGs.
And his own TTRPG Clockworld is an Insanely cool Weird West Action Horror, with his signature Wounds System. (This man is the KING of wound systems).

February UPDATE (and First Sneak Peek)

Hello folks!
I just wanted to reach out and update everyone on how things are going so far.
- Good news is that I am about 70% finished with formatting the entire book!
- My fiancée and I have completed about 60% of the artwork to be added
- And it is all looking GORGEOUS (I'll include some sample pages below of how it's looking :3)
Just a little bad news though... The publisher who I was hoping to work with has gone radio silent on me and so I am now frantically looking for a new publisher who I'd like to work with.
But not to worry, I have many options popping up so far!
I have seen some of you asking about when this project should ideally be finished.
So we are still aiming towards late March to hopfully have everything ready, I'm just hoping that finding a new publisher won't set us back too far.
As for PDFs, so long as we can get all of the artwork finished by the end of Febuary, those who have order the PDF should ideally be recieving it at the start of March :)
Again, apologies for not sending out as many updates recently. Both my partner and I got very sick for most of January but have now been charging ahead this month with work on the Kickstarter.
And NOW... I am very excited to share with you the first look at what this book and what it will look like n_n Enjoy!!
